Good news everybody! Lenny the Python made an appearance last night, and has been reunited with us once more. He seems to be doing just fine, despite his long sojourn. Thankfully we had repaired his cage and kept the rest of his gear in the back room in the hopes that he'd show up one day, so he's taking a long deserved nap in his cave currently, and is free of any injuries.
Where was he, you ask? I have no idea. We just happened to be up rattling around the apartment at 1 AM when Seamus spotted him crawling around in the living room. He's pretty big these days, so how we managed to NOT find him (we assumed he'd gotten outside at this point) is a mystery. My best guess is that he was inside the TV room couch, which would explain how he managed to elude discovery all this time despite us rearranging the furniture and up-ending all the closets.

Good news about Lenny, since we had discussed the very possible scenarios that your downstairs neighbors had eaten him :(
Seriously, tho, he's been slithering around your place for almost 2 months....kinda glad I haven't been over. You think he's gonna be happy in that tiny cage after his taste of freedom??
