Pardon minor spelling errors, my final-final copy that had the spelling errors fixed is at home on the desktop and I am sitting in class right now on my Mac.... otherwise this version is pretty much the final one. I know there is little to no interest in this paper, but I have been so incredibly frustrated and stressed for the past 8 days trying to get this done that I felt like I had to show somebody besides my professor, who will undoubtedly be less than impressed by it.
I was reading the paper again last night and it occurred to me that while it is certainly not my best work, it's not even what I would consider within my above-OK work, I'm nevertheless proud of myself for working so hard on it. I was (and still am) worried that I'm not good enough for history, and while this paper doesn't dispell those fears entirely, I feel much better about my ability to really buckle down and write through the constant headaches/frustration/anger/self-doubt that accompanied this paper.
To my loved ones who had the misfortune to have to speak to me while I've been writing this paper, I apologize. I'll make it up to you by graduating in the spring :)

i sped read this. It is good writing but I feel sorry for any History major. You gonna teach or what?
History is cool, but can make dry fodder for a hungry soul. (What?)

Psych is the easy major!
Dropping out was the easiest..yet I regret it tremendously. Hang in there. SO PROUD of you!!

Don't listen to Mom :) . College is often a mistake and History is just as useful as all the other useless majors...bio, psych, pre-law....
