Misfortune befalls the Connorsons

Seamus and I went out to go grocery shopping, and lo and behold, someone had hit the Hyundai in the middle of the night. Of course, as befitting the trash that humanity is, there was no note.

Seamus is out talking to our friendly neighborhood police officer, and hopefully this will all be taken care of soon, this is what car insurance is for after all.

The dirtbag, from what we can tell, slid down parking lot, then down the hillside into the passenger side of our car. There were even bits of glass embedded into the door. Then, the person tore up the lawn too.

We don't know who did it, but they lost a brake pad in the process, so we'll know the make and model of the car that did it, not to mention the damage they must have taken. We'll be putting up a reward for information leading to the person's arrest. We don't expect anyone to rat on their friend (as the car had to be parked at our building to slide down the hill, it for sure someone's friend) but you never know.

Well, I'm pretty mad still...but in all reality, the car is fine apart from it looking like crap and this is just a part of life... people sliding down hillsides and t-boning your car.

Pics to come!

You poor guys and your car woes. Seriously, I thought the time your car was stolen and then found in a library pkg lot was bizarre. this is even "better"....and I know you'll find the miscreant who hit you.
FYI: I ALWAYS leave notes when I hit cars...I hit 3 in 2006. People were shocked each time that A: I was so idiotic a driver as to not see their vehicle in my rearview mirror and B: that I actually owned up to it.
Good luck with the search to find the loser who did this.
Love ya Connorsons!
