For those of you that have had the misfortune of listening to me talk about this, a woman hit my car when I was on my way to see Dad when he had his stroke. In my desire to get to Dad, I didn't call the police, trusting her to do the right thing. She didn't, and a few months later I had to take her to small claims court and I have been in the middle of trying to get the money the court awarded me.
Friday, I got a call from M.T's (the woman that hit my car over the summer) insurance company...
They are not pleased that it went to court and they are sending me a check for $525!!! I can fix my car!!!!! Well, I have to sign a release, presumably a thing stating that I won't sue again...but finally! Done!
Geez, the things it takes to get people to do the right thing!!!!
